SEDA-COG’s Energy Resource Center invites you to attend the November Building Green breakfast seminar on Thursday, November 20th from 7:30-9:30am at the Parkview Room, 17 S 6th St, Lewisburg, PA. The topic will be “Retrofitting Buildings for Energy Savings.”
Stay tuned for more details on the event. Pre-registration and pre-payment will be required, and space will be limited. The seminar cost of $20 includes breakfast. We welcome your passing this information on to your clients and peers.
Mark your calendars to join your peers on the third
Thursday of each month, from 7:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. at various locations around
the SEDA-COG region. There will be no December meeting for the winter holiday. Consider attending the December 5th "Energizing Our Region" breakfast seminar instead. The dual purpose of the Green Building monthly breakfast seminars is to
provide a regular forum for peer exchange among diverse interests and to
provide collective learning about high performance building benefits,
practices, and products. The EOR monthly breakfast seminars are a parallel effort focused on providing our region with the knowledge necessary to pursue local use and ownership of renewable and energy efficient technologies and practices.
Come see and learn about the future of residential housing, homes that that create all of the energy that they use. It’s all in the design and materials, and it’s here now-- the “MorningStar Pennsylvania”, Penn State University’s nationally award winning zero-net energy home. Designed to lead the way in energy efficiency while remaining affordable and durable, this house showcases renewable and responsible energy use. Join Dave Riley, lead faculty on this project, to walk through this home and learn about its technical and environmental features. Dr. Riley will highlight the direct connection between energy use, the economy, and our homes.
Please join us in October, and at future Building Green seminars. Don’t hesitate to contact me for more information.
Sincerely,
