Eco-conscious volunteers sought for local music video

This is it! Your big break -- for lip synching, of course. Time to make all that karaoke practice pay off. And for a local music group, too.

Earl "Billy Kelly" Pickens here. Me and my new band, The Sweetbriars,
are filming a good old-fashioned, left-leaning, progressive-themed music
video this week and we're looking for volunteers to appear in a few scenes.

Our new song is called "Get Down Into It!", and it's a rallying cry
for people to wake up to the realities of climate change, work
together and DO SOMETHING to solve the problem together. YES WE CAN!

We'll be releasing the video along with our new album on Tuesday,
August 5th.

I'm trying to round up around 40 or so people who'd be willing to
come down to the video shoot (in downtown Lewisburg) on Thursday
evening, July 17, beginning at 5 PM. I'll be filming each person individually
singing/lip-synching the chorus of the song. I'm going to take all
the footage I shoot and cut it up into a rapid-fire montage of
'concerned citizens' singing our song.

If you'd like to participate, we'd LOVE to have you. Shoot me an
email if you can make it, and we'll count you in. I'll send you an mp3
of the chorus of the song so you can learn it — it's very simple —
and we'll set up a time to film your spot. Once you're in front of
the camera, it'll take less than two minutes to film your spot.

Kids are welcome.

Come on out! Your local rock band needs you.

Rock,
Billy "Earl Pickens" Kelly
