Faith and Climate
There is a new movement afoot among communities of faith promoting Creation Care, or spiritually motivated environmental ethics.
There are many different groups working to increase awareness of and responsibility toward the environment on the part of people of faith.
Some resources on the subject include the Greening Congregations Handbook produced by the Earth Ministry which compiles statements of eco-purpose, policy and contact information for many different faiths, creeds and denominations. This reference is available on loan from the Local Action Network if you are interested in reviewing it. Call 522.8159 for more information or email info@LocalActionPA.org.
